Digital Manipulation can be used for many things it can be used to make art, logos, advertisements, and movies. They can bebe bad or good depending onhow it is used.
i think that the only reason you should use digital manipulation for a joke and that only like a small group of people saw it.

OK, I think that digital manipulation is wrong, we shouldn't be able to use it. I think it's silly that people are making photos of people look perfect when in reality everyone knows that a person can't look like that. By altering the photos we are creating a fake world. If we create this phony world who's going to know what is real in life and what is fake, we'll all be living a lie! Also by creating a perfect picture with a perfect affect you fooling people into believing lies.

I think that digital manipulation shouldn't be used if it will be shown for the whole world to see because it is basically a lie. For example if you are showing an altered picture you took on holidays, people might actually think thats what its like. But I think it is alright when you are just altering a picture for fun, and only you will have access to it. Also i think people should have the right to know if it has been digitally manipulated.

It can give more depth and meaning to pictures.
You need to however get permission to do so.

i think that they should only be used as a joke. as long as the people the picture of gives permission it should be fine
Digital Manipulation is changing a picture out of its origional form so the picture looks more different. i think Digital Manipulation is some thing that is really bad for peoples self confidence if you use it for modling or de-ranging there faces with out permision. If you get cought by the person you may get sued. digital manipulation is also good for portrates and fixing things up that you do not wish to be seen.

I think that if you use them to manipulate something without permission and i could have a bad effect then it is a bad thing to do but if you do it with permission then it could be a good thing.<---- A PERIOD =O
