what a load they do not know us personally we may have good social skills or bad social skills anyway. WE could have good work ethic or not but it doesn't matter because they have already labeled us
I think that they are stereotyping teens at the worst level. I think that most teens are not like that and there are very few that are. Everyone downloads music, teen and adults so there is no need of that comment.

i dont think that is true i think that is more of a stereotype and not so much every one, because i am not nearly as bad as he thinks we are and i am sure other people aren't ether

i think that they are wrong in alotta ways.
like, we're not all like that sure some of us are.
but we're not obsessed with ourselves,
they just really have no right to say stuff like this.
They know NOTHING about us as teenagers, their biased and self-centered. Yes, we can do these things, but who says we have to be perfect? Many of us work, very well, and many of us don't vandalize, OR steal!
They ask us too much. We cannot be perfect, so why ask us too be?
they are not dumb or lazy a lot of people have a good work ethic at this age
When you think about it every generation says that about the younger generation before it. Some of those things may apply to some people but not everybody. They're judging us unfairly without any actual proof(i think). My generation has been sheltered so much that we forget how to think for ourselves and people rebel against it. We have a lot less amount of freedom and there are so many rules about safety and "keeping us safe" it gets annoying.
I think that is very very rude and is biased. Yes, some teens don't do good things. They steal, they are rude and don't seem to care about anyone other than themselves. I don't think it is fair to say that all teens are like that though. Especially saying that all teens have a poor work ethic and make bad employees. That isn't fair and doesn't take into account that some people actually do work hard!
I believe that is a bunch of bull! i go to hockey, football ect... and we are not dumber, we are learning harder stuff then they use too, they didnt even have to go to school till grade 12 back then. Some of us are violent, but most are not at all. Many teens have jobs which they are very good at. And it is not all about "us" i always have time for my family and I always listen to them. And yet again I have plenty time for sports and healthy activities.
I think that guy is just stupid. And i do not agree with what they said about this generation they are just mad that we can use a computer...
about the comments.... i think that they are totally wrong in manny manny ways. I believe that we are for surly not like that. Sure, there may be a few kids that are our age that are exactly like that, and we may have a few problems but we definitely are not like tha
That is such a stereotype! that is just how this generation is, things have changed since the past. It's not fair to judge all others, for some it may be true but overall its just not like that.
I do not think that we are the dumbest generation we have not gone to war over sugar, oil, and other dumb stuff like that we are not the ones that have the most effect on ruing our ecosystem. We cant be that dumb if we can multi task so much and can operate all modern technology if we are so dumb we would not be able to function in our modern society.

i believe that yes some people at our age are mean, slackers, and rude but there also alot of people who are kind, polite and respectful to others. There some businesses who just rely on teens for there work and some times there some bad eggs but most people i know work hard and enjoy working. sure kids are getting obese but that doesn't involve all of us. still in high school there alot of people involved with sports and extra curricular activities involved with physical activities

no one knows us personally and we are healthy and active we have gym class everyday and most people actually mostly everyone i know does after school activities. No need for these comments.

we are so as smart as them!!!!!!! that is the most amount of bull_____ i've ever heared. we are way smarter than them we know more about this new society then them. i think were way more active then them. ya they didn't have as much technology to do there work but atleast we admit that were out of shape and do something about it like work out.
i think this is ridiculous. they are just stereo typing all of us when they don't even know us. maybe if they met everyone from this generation then maybe they would have a different point of view on this issue. yes some of us do just sit around and do nothing, but its not just your generation its spreading threw all of society so it is unfair just to blame all of it on this generation. the world is changing some of us are on good paths and some are on the not so great ones but thats life around us adapting to the 21st century.
people can not just point fingers and try and pass the blame. Its easy to blame the young people that can not sand up them selves and have a voice. people have been messing up the world for years, but when the time comes to point a finger its easy to see who well be on the business end. its not our fult like this, we did not raise our selves

I have read this guy's book, Grown Up Digital that you are all commenting on (concerning the 10 issues people have with your gen.) I think if you watch the video, you'll see that he actually is defending you all! He is a huge fan of what your generation is bringing to our world. Watch the vid!
